These Terms govern your use of mikesacademy.com.au and your participation in classes, trials, and events run by Mike's Academy of Martial Arts ("the Academy", "we", "us", "our"). By booking a class, attending a trial, or enrolling as a member, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Enrolment

The Academy reserves the right to accept or decline any enrolment at our discretion. Enrolment of a person under 18 must be authorised by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on the participant's behalf.

2. Free Trial Class

Your first class is free. The trial is offered subject to availability and is not transferable. Attendance at a trial does not guarantee ongoing membership.

3. Health and Risk Acknowledgement

Martial arts training involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury. By participating, you acknowledge that you (or your child) are in suitable health to take part in physical training, and that you participate at your own risk. You agree to inform the instructor of any medical condition, injury, or limitation that may affect safe participation.

4. Conduct

All participants, parents, and guardians agree to follow the Academy's Studio Etiquette and to behave respectfully toward instructors, fellow students, and the training venue. We reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate membership for conduct that endangers safety or disrupts training, without refund.

5. Fees and Cancellations

Once paid memberships commence, fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms will be set out in a separate Membership Agreement provided at enrolment.

6. Photography and Media

From time to time we may photograph or film classes for use in promotional material. Where you or your child appears, we will seek your written consent before any image is published. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

7. Venue

Classes are held at Roxburgh Park United Soccer Club, 175 Mirams Drive, Roxburgh Park, VIC. Class times, dates, and venues may change with reasonable notice.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Academy, its instructors, and the venue operators are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage suffered in connection with attendance at our classes, other than liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at mikesacademy.com.au/terms.
